Our AML and Verification Policy
We launched in 2024 under licence 8048/JAZ2021-054, issued by the Curaçao eGaming authority, and every account on dudespin-aud.com operates under the anti-money-laundering obligations attached to that licence. This page sets out plainly what we check, when we check it and what we need from you.
Our AML Commitment
Why these rules apply to you
Money laundering is the process of pushing criminally obtained funds through a legitimate business until the money appears clean. Online casinos are attractive targets for this, so our licence conditions require us to run a formal anti-money-laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism-financing programme. That programme covers every player on our platform, with no exceptions for VIP tier, balance size or length of membership.
We treat these obligations as a condition of doing business rather than a box-ticking exercise. Our compliance team is led by a nominated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) who reports suspicious activity to the relevant authorities in our licence jurisdiction, and staff across payments and support receive regular AML training.
When We Verify You
Verification checkpoints
We apply Know Your Customer (KYC) checks at defined trigger points rather than all at once. You can register, deposit and play with only your basic details, but full verification must be completed before your first withdrawal. This is the standard structure used across licensed operators and it is a hard requirement, not a courtesy.
- At registration: your name, date of birth, residential address, email and phone number.
- Before your first withdrawal: full identity and payment method verification.
- At any threshold the compliance team flags, such as cumulative deposits above a level set in our internal risk policy.
- At any point where activity on your account matches a suspicious pattern.
Documents we accept
For identity, we need a government-issued photo ID: passport, driver licence or national ID card, valid and legible on all four corners. For proof of address, a utility bill, bank statement or official government correspondence dated within the last 3 months, showing your full name and residential address. For payment method ownership, a photo of the card (first six and last four digits visible, middle digits and CVV covered), a screenshot of your e-wallet or crypto wallet account page, or a bank statement showing the originating account.
How Verification Works
Step by step
Our verification flow runs through your account profile, so you can upload documents yourself and track their status. Nothing is sent by email unless we explicitly request it, and we will never ask for your password or full card details.
- Open the Verification section of your account profile.
- Upload a clear photo or scan of your government-issued photo ID.
- Upload your proof of address (maximum 3 months old).
- Upload payment method evidence for the deposit method you used.
- Our compliance team reviews the files and confirms or requests clarification.
- You receive an email and an in-account notification once verification is complete.
Processing time and data protection
Most reviews finish well inside 48 hours from upload, and straightforward cases are often cleared the same day. If a document is blurry, expired, cropped or shows a name that does not match your account, we will come back to you with a specific reason rather than a generic rejection. Delays almost always come from resubmissions, so get the first upload right.
Your documents are stored on encrypted servers with access restricted to trained compliance staff. We never share verification data with third parties except where we are legally required to do so, and the files are used only for identity, AML and licensing purposes.
Source of Funds Requests
When we ask and why
If we ask, your account may stay fully active for play while the review runs, though withdrawals above the reviewed amount can be held until the SOF file is complete. All SOF documents receive the same encryption and restricted-access handling as your KYC file.
Monitoring Your Transactions
Deposits and withdrawals
Every deposit and withdrawal on our platform passes through automated screening that flags unusual size, frequency, structuring (splitting one large transaction into smaller ones) and connections to sanctioned individuals or entities. Flagged transactions go to manual review by the compliance team, and we are permitted to hold funds while a review is underway.
Withdrawals are paid back to the same method you used to deposit wherever that method supports it. If you deposited with PayID, Neosurf, CashtoCode, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether or Litecoin, we may ask you to nominate an alternative withdrawal channel, and you will need to verify ownership of it before funds are released.
| Withdrawal parameter | Our standard |
|---|---|
| Minimum withdrawal | AUD 20 |
| Maximum per day | AUD 5,000 |
| Maximum per month | AUD 20,000 |
| Processing time | Crypto up to 1 hour; e-wallets 0 to 24 hours; cards 1 to 3 days; bank transfer 3 to 5 business days |
| Casino fees | None |
Why limits exist
Daily and monthly caps are part of our AML framework, not a judgement about you. They cap the speed at which funds can move through the platform, which limits the attractiveness of the casino to anyone attempting layering. If you need a limit reviewed, contact support and our compliance team will assess it alongside your verification status.
If Verification Fails
What happens next
When a player does not complete verification, or the documents supplied fail review, we act in a sequence that protects both sides. Funds you deposited remain yours and are not confiscated simply because documents are missing, but movement out of the account stops until the file is resolved.
- Withdrawals are suspended until valid documents are received.
- Repeated failed uploads may freeze deposits as well, at the compliance team's discretion.
- If an ID appears fraudulent, altered or borrowed, the account is locked and the balance may be held pending investigation.
- If we confirm a breach of AML rules, we may close the account and, where legally required, report the matter to the authorities.
- Refunds of remaining balance, where permitted, go only to a verified payment method in your own name.
How Long We Keep Records
Storage periods
Under our licence conditions we must retain KYC documents, transaction records and AML review files for at least 5 years after your account closes or after the last transaction, whichever comes later. That retention period exists so that records are available if a regulator or law enforcement body requests them.
Once the retention window expires, files are deleted on a secure schedule. You can request a copy of your own verification data at any time while your account is open, and you can ask us to correct an error in your record by contacting [email protected]. Our support team is available 24/7.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I withdraw before finishing verification?
No. Our licence requires completed KYC before the first withdrawal from any account. Verification typically takes up to 48 hours once you upload clear documents.
Why was I asked for a second document after my ID was approved?
Identity confirms who you are; proof of address and payment method ownership confirm where you live and that the deposit method is genuinely yours. Each document answers a different AML question.
What if I deposited with Neosurf or PayID?
Those channels do not support withdrawals back to the original method, so we will ask you to nominate a verified alternative such as a bank account, card, e-wallet or crypto wallet in your own name.
Is my crypto activity also monitored?
Yes. Crypto deposits and withdrawals pass through the same screening as fiat transactions, including wallet verification and sanctions checks.
Who can see my documents?
Only trained compliance staff with system-level access permissions. Documents are encrypted at rest and are never shared externally except under a legal obligation.
